The first regional seminar handball coaches in the region „Centre“, organized by the Community coach Handball Association of Serbia and Belgrade was held last weekend in the hall Slodes.
The topics were „The attack on the zone 6-0“ – lecturer Vuk Roganović, „Defense 6-0“ – teacher Bratislav Obućina, these two classes had the practical and theoretical part, then „macrocycle in Training handball beginners, a three-year period“ – teacher Milorad Lajić.
Attendance at the seminar was mandatory for all coaches who are classified in Category 1 and 2 from the district and the City of Belgrade had to attend, and coaches from Kolubara, Macva, Danube and Branicevo. The seminar was able to attend all the others, current and future coaches, trainers and those who are in the process of acquiring knowledge.
Chairman of the Board ZT RSB and coach RK Obilic, Bratislav Obućina was pleased with the response of the trainer:
– The response is excellent, a lot of coaches last year polozilo the third degree, and they went rank higher. Here in SLODES we had about thirty coaches who attended the seminar. I’m a little disappointed that some coaches who although they have laid for the third stage did not come to hear this lecture, especially Lajić that is, in my top expert to work with young handball players. – What I got the task to prepare for this seminar is „in the process of training macrocycle handball beginners, a three-year period,“ I had a theoretical part and here I am talking about things from my years of experience, mainly what can be found at Internet. I showed a couple of exercises to work with beginners.
How do you as an experienced coach can see the current status of the work with younger categories?
– Our biggest problem, I think the coaches, the lack of funds. We are gasified provide funds for the operation of the club, we care about the time, the organization of the match … Working with youth categories is and is not good, but what is not good is that a lot of chasing a result of that age. Senior citizens’ right, the measure of all is the result of a younger category primarily the work and the creation of players. How many players have been trained, and we’ve even seen for the first team, it is a measure of the trainer in junior category. At the expense of the results we do not learn these children the basics. I look at our Super League and I did not see the shooter reflection of the lower leg! Top player has to know. This is just a detail. I think we have quality coaches to work with children or have no conditions and it is our biggest problem, can not be fully committed to work with children – concluded Lajić.
