Coaches Serbia decided to seriously address their status in society, so they asked for help from the Board of Directors RS Serbia, the other day at their session, to support them in their efforts to elevate the profession and the organization at a much higher level.
In front of the coaches were Bratislav Obućina, President of Coaching Organization of Belgrade and Serbia ZT vice president and member of the UO Dragan Vrgović ZT RSS.
Izenadili you and handball government with this movement, and in many ways you come to meet?
– They are more than correct, no I did not expect that much interest for us, I am very satisfied. It has long been supposed to do, we have a reason or without, very isolated and it now needs to be changed. Handball organization can not function without all of us.
You have requested to carry out some changes in the schedule, for example, that one team can not play without a licensed coach and in case of a justified absence, the team can only coach to lead again, it is sufficient operational coach?
– UO has recognized our tendency, the sentence is very important because in this way we protect the profession. These are adopted, and they offered a great solution for our request that no one but the trainer can not get up from the bench and walking along the line of the field. All our requests, suggestions and requests are in line with the situation of our country, we do not ask the impossible.
On the contrary, you have even lowered their earnings in the clubs, but also determine the sums at categorisations. Is not it a bit of a professional coach in Super League that has a minimum wage of 500 euros?
– This is the reality, but it is important that we all stick and certain tariffs. The Management Board, however, is right, it is our internal matter and we need to solve it yourself, but it is certain that this practice will not be able to be implemented, at least for now. Our awareness of the protection of their own profession is not yet awakened. But it will, I’m sure.
What would you like to change in coaching organization and have not stood in the session?
– This is also some of our internal matter, but it is very important to protect the coaches without immediate engagement. For example, the training seminar in Kragujevac two days costs 12,000 dinars, and that’s fine by what this involves, but for professionals without a job should be halved to 6,000 dinars.
Sounds quite reasonable, and everyone must have the interest to specialists constantly improve?
– That’s right, though not in education was not achieved to the maximum possible, should be all to the next level. Among other things, it should be for experienced trainers introduce some papers on these seminars are the same age. It would be interesting to hear about the experiences of developed countries, handball, etc. more about the condition.
