Croatian handball national team coach Lino Červar thinks that the collective game was the key triumph over Montenegro in the first match of the World Cup finals.
– The team was the best player. Fantastic altruism on the team, they were dying for each other, none of the balls were lost. It was fantastic communication between the players. It was nice and attractive, but, again, we do not have to live too much on an old glory. We have to be modest and to prove ourselves again, regardless of the result. We sent a message by which way we will go and in the future it will surely bring us the result, said Cervar, adding on the rematch:
Let’s go back to proving ourselves, it would be bad to go on a trip. The World Cup is our first goal this year.
