Serbian national team coach, Nenad Perunicic, spoke in a dialect about his players after placing the EP 2020:
It’s hard to talk about spending us on the bench, not the player in the field. I will pay great respect to Dejan Milosavljev, who was injured on the field and was among the tripods. This is what we are building in the previous period in the national team. Family, family. I think we made a team of guys who have a great desire. They were written off seven months ago, I think too early, but it gave them the strength. And despite the injuries, Dejan, Marsenec, and Vorkapic, all influenced us, but encouraged us to give everything for the national coat of arms. Switzerland had no question, it came as a team that already secured the placement, that it was the other way around, we would play more relaxed. Against a team that has such a player as Shmid, you must not allow many mistakes, we had some, and they used it and they returned to the match. We are not a team with many stars, we are a team. I believe we will be better. I am extremely proud of this team
