HANDBALL NO LIMIT Gathered the coaching elite!

Another good camp for young players was held this summer. Trainers from the Balkans who work and live in Switzerland, David Miloradovic and Zeljko Djuric, came up with the idea of a campsite promoted by 2018 Champions League champion Nikola Portner. The camp was held in July this year in Switzerland and brought together the very elite of coaches who worked with young players and was also a seminar for the Coaches under the Rink Convention.

– After winning the Champions League (Nikola Portner) 2018 with Montpellier, we came up with the idea to continue promoting handball in the less developed regions of Switzerland in the same direction. Nikola is the first Swiss to win that title.

Željko Đurić and I came up with the idea, we both work as coaches of the younger categories. Zeljko is a coach at RC Lausanne and coaches the younger categories, and I coach the selection of Vaud cantons for up to 15 years of boys, says David Miloradovic

-We immediately proposed to Nick the idea and he willingly agreed to participate in the organization, and not just lend us his name for the camp. Which is very important for the project. The name of the organization is HANDBALL NO LIMIT, or handball without borders. We chose this because our goal is to deal with really all aspects of handball, irrelevant at the age of I. We also merge certain clubs with handball brands (because in the western part of Switzerland it is difficult to get handball equipment). In the future, our goal is to organize tournaments and friendly matches for promotions. All this to grow into a small academy tomorrow.

In cooperation with Dragan Djukic, the whole story about the camp was launched?

– We enrolled children from all over Switzerland, girls and boys between the ages of 13 and 17. We had 50 of them. The site of the camp is the Sports House of the Canton of Vaud – in Leysin (western Switzerland) at about 1300m above sea level. Within the camp we have integrated an official course for coaches. where they attended a particular module under the Rinck Convention. In total, we had 17 coaches. Why this is important, this is the first course organized in this way, that the trainers are international, and that the trainers present can observe what it looks like to perform a training on a given topic. We are very proud to have very serious professionals within our camp:

1. Dragan Djukic – Serbia

2. Klaus Feldmann – Germany

3. Nenad Sostaric – Croatia

4. Aleksandar Stevic – BSV Bern coach

5. Zlatko Portner – Switzerland

6. Francois Bertherat – France

7. Jean Francois Perisset – Switzerland
