The selector of the Croatian national team, Nenad Šoštarić, was not particularly disappointed after the first defeat of his team at the European Championship in Denmark. As expected, the series of four triumphs of the Balkan selection was interrupted by the mighty Norway.
Despite the first failure, Croatia still has a good chance to crown its fairytale performance in the north of Europe by placing in the semifinals, which will require a positive result in the match of the last round of the second phase against Germany (Tuesday).
-The fact is that we played a great 40 minutes against Norway and that only we and Norway played five games in 10 days. As we said that there is no euphoria when we win, so now there is no tragedy. Now we have to prepare, rest and fully dedicate ourselves to the match with Germany. I think we can absolutely match them.
