European champion Györ will have a new coach from the summer, since the club’s management decided not to renew the contract with the current head of the professional staff, Gabor Dani, who expires at the end of the season. From the next competition year, the days will be led by Siofok, with whom he signed a contract for three years, while Zdravko Zovko will be reassigned to the position of his assistant.
Gabor Dani has been in Győr since 2011, and he became the first coach in 2018. A year later, he won the EHF Champions League with the best Hungarian team. Of the many candidates for the Hungarian champion’s bench, the main one is Ambros Martin, who has already successfully led Győr.
