After a five-month break, Spartak from Subotica started preparations for the new season, led by the experienced Slaviša Laković. Bela Evetović will help him in his work. About the ambitions in the new season, the head of the profession, Laković, pointed out that the players are eager to work and play because the break was too long.
- So far, we have sixteen guys in the preparations, mostly from this team. I can’t say for sure in what composition we will start the championship, because a lot needs to be defined in the next few days. After some more negotiations, we will have a clearer picture. We are currently working outdoors in Mulberry Forest and will be so until we get permission to train in the gym. The players are eager to work and play because there was a long break. We will work twice a day, we will have several control matches. A tournament in Sivac awaits us, followed by some matches with teams from Hungary and the vicinity of Subotica, concluded Laković.
